The TBM 5V, supplied
with a TV chain including an image intensifier, video processor
and monitor could be combined with High Frequency generator and an
Automatic Exposure Control that guarantees superior examination
results both in radiography and fluoroscopy. By incorporating a
second X-ray tube assembly on a column, images of chest
examination with grid may be carried out in horizontal, vertical
position or in any incidence. The wide range of movements of the
spot film device lockable in any position with electromagnetic
brakes, offers a large field of examinations. The collimator is
synchronized to the lead shutters, to offer full format image or
subdivisions by 2, 3, 4 reducing scattered radiation for both the
patient and the user and improving image quality. The cassette is
loaded automatically. The TBM 5V is supplied with a complete set
of accessories including : compression belt, handgrips, adjustable
foot rest, shoulder rest.

Due to numerous features of the TBM 5 V table, like tilting up
to +90°, trendelenburg mode up to -15°, floating tabletop and
under table Bucky, the TBM 5 V can be used for a lot of
different applications using either the under table X-ray tube
linked to the spot film device or the second tube on the
column. (option) Supplied with a spot film device using the
more reliable technology, the TBM 5V provides swiftness of
controls, accuracy in all movements, and reduction of misuse.
This user-friendly and reliable system extends the guaranty
for a good standard in image quality. |

The low table height of 88 cm from the floor and the parkable
spot film device provide easy patient access. Perfect counter
balancing in all table positions (+90°, -15°) and motorized
compression travel, allow the spot film device to move
effortlessly and efficiently to provide comfort for the
patient and the operator. Linked mechanically to the spot film
device, the under table X-ray tube remains always perfectly
centred in radioscopy as well as in radiography mode. |
